Shesar became the only representative of the Red and White in the men's singles because Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie withdrew from the French Open due to waist injuries.

Ginting and Jojo got the injury while defending Indonesia in the Thomas Cup two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the women's doubles only sent Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Ribka Sugiarto and Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah.

In the mixed doubles, Indonesia also has two representatives, namely Praveen Jordan / Melati Daeva Oktavianti and Rinov Rivaldy / Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.

Meanwhile, Indonesia sent the most representatives in the men's doubles number, namely four pairs. They are Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.

However, only four representatives will compete first today, namely Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah, and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Shesar Hiren Rhustavito will play Canada's Brian Yang, while Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will face Danish seventh seed Mia Blichfeldt.

The women's doubles pair, Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah, will also meet representatives of Denmark, namely Amalie Magelund/Freja Ravn. As for Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto against the Scottish men's doubles, Alexander Dunn/Adam Hall.
